What is CNC machining and how does it work?

CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining is a subtractive manufacturing process where pre-programmed software controls machine tools to remove material with extraordinary precision. At MW+, our 5-axis CNC centers achieve tolerances as tight as ±0.001mm on metals, plastics, and exotic alloys. The process starts with your CAD file and ends with a fully documented, certified precision part.

Standard tolerance is ±0.01mm. Precision applications: ±0.005mm. With specialized 5-axis simultaneous machining setups: ±0.001mm. Surface roughness from Ra 3.2μm standard down to Ra 0.1μm mirror polish. Process capability Cpk ≥1.67 maintained on critical dimensions. All verified with Zeiss CMM measurement reports provided with each order.
